The Pulchritude

Pulchritude means beauty, and that is just what this is, a beauty blog.  Hi, I am Acacia, I run my own Mary Kay business, and through doing this I have learned many tricks and shortcuts to putting on makeup and making it stay a long time.  I feel like I need to share these things with beautiful women everywhere, hence, I created this blog.  Hopefully every day, but at least once a week I will post a new "look" this may include the whole face or it may just be eyes or lips.  Tips for applying makeup and tutorials on all the looks I create will also be included so that you can try it at home.  I hope you enjoy!

Look Number 1
Created with Mary Kay Mineral eye color
in Moonstone and Sweet Plum

Start by brushing Moonstone from lashes to brows.  Next dip your index finger in a little water and apply it only to the lid below the crease.  Apply the moonstone again to lid while it is still wet.  I find that doing this makes the shadow stay in place better, and gives it a smoother texture.  Next you will need your Sweet plum.  Start the sweet plum on the outside corner of your eye brushing along your top lash line and then onto your crease line to create a "v" shape; this will help open up your eyes.  When you have made the "v" blend so that the transition between the Sweet Plum and Moonstone is smooth.  Finish of with Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara on the top lashes and work a little bit of Mary Kay Eyeliner in Amethyst into the bottom lashes.  Beautiful! Now you have completed the look for today! Let me know how you like it!
